Copper electroplating takes the science and art of functional glass to a new skyline. Using a conductive solution & copper wiring hooked up to a power supply, the two agates, ammonite, and glassware are submerged then shocked to create this stunningly unique appearance & preservation.

Ammonite: Spiral fossil derived from the exctinct Cephalopoda - Ammonoidea are commonly admired for their clear visual depiction of the Fibonacci sequence. This fossil is between 65 and 240 million years old.

Agate: Two gorgeous amber agates are displayed on each side of this rig. Showcasing translucent patterns complementing the sweeping copper hue, these agates are a cryptocrystalline form of quartz comprised of various oxides.

This heady work of geology & 'glassology' was blown in a renovated school bus down in California and represents the best combination of West Coast innovation & freelance art. Show some support for American made work & local art by making this rig the centerpiece of your dab station & conversation.
